Common questions

Can I use a trust fund instead?

Yes. FMCSA accepts a $75,000 trust fund filed on Form BMC-85 in place of the BMC-84 surety bond.

Why is it still called an ICC bond?

The Interstate Commerce Commission handled broker licensing before FMCSA took over. Many in the industry still use the old name.
