Common questions

What does Alabama require?

Alabama Code 34-6-32 requires a billiard room license applicant to file a $1,000 bond payable to the State of Alabama, approved by and filed with the probate judge.

Who signs the bond?

The operator signs as principal, with a surety company. Alabama law also allows two individual sureties, but most applicants use a surety company.
