Common questions
How much bond can the Florida Lottery require?
Florida section 24.112 caps it at twice the retailer's average lottery ticket sales, and for a new retailer's first 90 days, twice estimated sales. It does not apply to prepaid tickets.
Can I deposit securities instead?
Yes. Florida lets a retailer deposit eligible securities with the Chief Financial Officer in place of a bond.
