Common questions
What does Florida require?
Florida requires a promoter bond of at least $15,000 under Fla. Stat. 548.014. The commission can require more security for a single event if its liability may exceed $15,000.
Can I post cash instead?
Florida accepts cash, a certified check, or certain government bonds in place of a surety bond.
