What this bond guarantees

Depending on the law, the bond promises the city or state that the operator will pay for damage to streets and property and for cleanup, or that it can pay injury claims from riders. If the operator leaves damage behind or fails to pay a covered claim, the obligee or injured person can claim on the bond. The operator must repay the surety for any claim paid.

How much is a city carnival bond?

City amounts vary widely, often a few thousand dollars to cover cleanup and street damage. Check with the city where you are setting up.
